What is an
Ambassador?
The Western Kentucky
Biology Ambassadors are undergraduates selected by the department
faculty to assist with recruiting events and visits by high
school students and other guests to the Department. The Ambassadors
are bright, outgoing students who usually are involved in an
independent research project or other departmental activities.
By example and through presentations, the Ambassadors represent
the range of opportunities available to Biology undergraduates.
Who should apply?
Students of junior
or senior status who are interested in representing the Biology
department and Western Kentucky University.
Where can
I get an application?
Application (Application
Word Document)
See Ambassador
Program. Please turn in completed applications to the Biology
Department
Office (TCNW 201). Application receipt deadline is September
15, 2006. Review of applicants / Interviews will be held the
week of September 18 with decisions
made by September 22.
Why should
I be an Ambassador?
Ambassadors are one
of the first contacts prospective students have with WKU Biology,
and hence serve as a very important representative and pivotal
member of the recruitment team. Involvement as an Ambassador
will allow you to make an impact on the future of WKU Biology.
